About 2020 NCAA College Football Schedules

NCAA College Football Schedules

As the 2020 College football season is coming upon us, it does not look like fans will be able to attend live games because of the CoronaVirus Covid-19 pandemic. So many questions remain unanswered but the bottom line is that fans will most likely not be able to even purchase tickets for the 2020 season.

As far as season ticket holders are concerned, even more question remain as to going about getting refunds for tickets that they have already paid for. CloseSeats has spoken to some fans that have paid for their college football season tickets and they are not being told anything. Some of them have been told that if there are no fans allowed into the games, then the season tickets that they have paid for will be credited toward the 2021 season.

While that may be a relief to some people because it is just less money that they have to come up with for next years season, others are not so happy. They do not like the fact that their money is just sitting there being frozen while they can be using it for their own purposes. Either way it is a big mess.

2020 Schedules

Which brings us back to the purpose of this article which is 2020 college football schedules. Most of the conferences, if they are going to have football games this year will have only inter-conference schedules.  Which means that they will only play teams within their own conference and all non-conference games will be cancelled. We will have to see what happens as far as bowl games go. As of today's writing. 8/07/2020 No college bowl games have been cancelled. This is bizarre to me because there is no certain way to even determine who would play in what bowl game in a fair way because of how each school and conference is handling the Coronavirus pandemic.

It does seem to me that the NCAA is determined to figure it out though because there is just too much TV money involved in the big picture, even if fans are unable to attend games. The Rose Bowl, for instance, has not been cancelled, even though the Rose Bowl Parade has been.

I guess we will just have to wait and see how this all plays out. I for one do hope that they figure out the scheduling because I would love to see games played, even without the fans.
